Sequence running from a doepfer dark time through the formant classic synth in ableton 9. Reverb and autofilter was added.

Sound created by square wave lfos, attenuverters, hard synced vcos, delay, reverb and filter. I think it nice. Kraftwerkish. . .

It's fun to patch up a kind of analog shift register (3 stages). Doepfer a-160 controls the stages. On a-160 i use /2, /4 and /8. I sample slewed noise. No quantizer.

Nlc jerk off without any input is the engine for this simple patch. In my little world i see nlcs chaos modules as a helping hand. I find the though of chaos very pleasing. . . Spring reverb and analog delay are used.

I'm trying to get some character to my modular sounds. This is a sequence with a sawtooth wave mixed with noise and joined in a vca that can distort a little. It's a vca i bought used. Don't think a new vca of the same sort distortes. I really like that. I little reverb is added to the sound. The sound is analog until it reaches the reverb. Sometime i will buy a spring reverb. Promise. But here, on the internet, the sound is digital anyway.

Self modulating a standard doepfer a-110 vco. We are listening to a square wave. I'm modulating with a sinus. I'm wiggling pwm and the degree of self modulation (and attack and decay). Spring reverb and analog delay from stomp box.

A self generating patch going though the zoom ms-70cdr. The synth generates weird noises etc and the fx adds reverb anda strange clipped pan fx. I recorded 5 minutes.

In this patch i use bastl instruments tromsø as comparator, sample and hold and oscillator (3 in 1). The cv is coming from nonlinearcircuits jerk off. The audio out from tromsø goes through nonlinearcircuits timbre!. Some delay from an analog delay pedal and reverb from doepfer spring reverb. One voice exploring a chaotic cv source. Free to use without restricition. No attribution required. 50 seconds of ghostly wails over a dark sub bass drone with wide stereo reverb. Produced by using two old school analog synths, a cs-80 and a dx7. All chorus, phaser and reverb settings were manipulated within the synths. An external hi-pass eq plugin was added in order to cut off the subs at 30hz. These old analog synths produce frequencies way below the tolerance of your monitors; thus the need for a bass cutoff, not to mention to also prevent involuntary bowel leakage xd.

I have made a patch that generates drones. Lets call this generative. . . I use feedback on my spring reverb. I only use one filter. The drone is structured by a triangle lfo and 2 comparators. It's tricky to balance the patch to give varying and interesting results. The drone is made with a 100% analog modular synth.

Short melody performed on a moog grandmother with the spring reverb turned pretty high which is what the dissonance between notes. It was recoreded into ableton live 10 using a focusrite 2i2 audio interface at 44. 4 khz in dallas texas on a rainy night.

In this patch i’m using doepfer a-160 clock divider as a sub bas generator. Square wave out from doepfer a-110 to trig in on a-160. I guess a square wave makes it easier for a-160? /4, in this patch, out to uvcf. The sawtooth from a-110 to another nice filter - the wasp filter. A classic movie punch sound recreated by hitting a leather car seat with a cricket bat. Recorded using a rode k2 tube mic and a schoeps cmc6, driving the preamps hard and compressing the input, then heavily compressing a number of takes using analog-emulation plugins (including a fairchild 660) and running the mix through waves maxxbass. Then limiting some more and finally adding the swoosh of a riding crop and a non-linear reverb noise tail.
